Our Mission

Our goal is to provide a 'one-stop shopping' location to allow the low-income, uninsured and underinsured population comprehensive health service delivery.

The objective of the Family Health & Help Center is to assist people in Parke County and surrounding areas increase their quality of life by helping them gain the knowledge, motivation and opportunities they need to make informed decisions about their health.

Adults in rural areas are 36% more likely to report their health status as fair or poor than adults in urban areas. -- Healthy People, 2010

For Parke and surrounding counties, the Family Health & Help Center has developed a community-wide effort that promotes healthy behaviors and creates healthy environments by providing increased access to preventative and acute high-quality health and dental care.

C.H.I.E.F.

The mission of the Community Health Intervention Education Foundation, Inc. (C.H.I.E.F.), the sponsoring agency for the Family Health & Help Center, is to establish and maintain a facility to provide accessible, affordable quality health, dental and human services to families and individuals in Parke County and surrounding areas.
